What WARDOGS actually asks of your GPU
Start with what Bulkhead published. The minimum tier is a Core i5-8600 or Ryzen 5 3500, 16 GB of memory and a GTX 1660 or RX 590, aimed at 1080p Low at 60 fps with upscaling doing part of the work. The recommended tier is a Core i7-12700K or Ryzen 7 5700X with an RTX 3070 or RX 6700 XT, aimed at 1440p Medium at 70 fps native. DirectX 12 is required and the install runs around 50 GB.
Two things fall out of that. First, there is no official high-refresh tier, which is why every pick below is framed against a refresh number instead. Second, the Elytra kernel-level anti-cheat rules out Steam Deck and Linux entirely, so a handheld is not a fallback plan here.
The engine is Unreal Engine 5, running Bulkhead's War Dynamics Framework to keep 100 players, vehicles, destructible structures and effects alive in the same battle. Early testing at the game's Overkill preset at 1440p put the RTX 5070 Ti around a 110 fps average with peaks past 151. Overkill is not how anyone plays a competitive shooter, though.
