Black Friday is close. Early deals are already showing up, and some of them are genuine: below anything we have tracked for the same part. Others are last month’s price with a new badge.
The picks below are parts we expect to drop. Until a deal actually goes live we show today’s Amazon price, so you can see the drop when it lands.

How to shop Black Friday
Build your shortlist before the sale
Decide what you are buying before Black Friday week starts: the GPU tier you need for your resolution, the CPU socket you are committing to, and the capacity you want in storage and memory. A shortlist turns a wall of badges into a quick yes or no.
Know what a good price looks like
A discount is only as good as the price it is measured against. Strikethrough prices are set by the seller and are often raised in the weeks before the sale. We compare every deal on this page against the prices we have recorded, so a "Real drop" label means the part is cheaper than it has been, not just cheaper than its list price.
What tends to drop, and what does not
- Storage and memory: NVMe SSDs and DDR5 kits see some of the deepest and most reliable cuts.
- Monitors and power supplies: frequent, solid discounts, especially on last year’s models.
- Graphics cards: depends on the launch cycle. Outgoing models get cleared; current-gen cards often see smaller cuts or bundles.
- CPUs: steady drops on the previous generation; the newest chips rarely move much.
Black Friday or Cyber Monday?
Amazon runs one long sale from the week before Black Friday through Cyber Monday, so most prices carry across both days. Lightning deals and limited-quantity offers are the exception. If a part on your shortlist hits a real low, it is usually not worth waiting three days to save a little more.
Check the return window
Amazon usually extends its holiday return window into January for purchases made in November and December. Confirm the window on the product page before you buy, especially for monitors and GPUs.
How we pick and verify deals
We track Amazon prices for the parts on this page several times a day and keep the history. A deal gets a Lowest we’ve tracked or Real drop label only when today’s price beats what we’ve actually recorded. When a strikethrough “was” price sits above anything we’ve seen recently, we flag it with Check the “was” price, since the discount may be smaller than it looks. Picks we’re watching show today’s price until the drop actually appears.
Black Friday FAQs
When is Black Friday?
Black Friday is always the Friday after US Thanksgiving, which falls on the fourth Thursday in November. Amazon usually opens its Black Friday sale several days earlier and runs it through Cyber Monday. The date panel at the top of this page always shows this year’s dates.
Are Black Friday PC part deals actually good?
Many are, but not all. Some listings raise the reference price before the sale so the discount looks bigger. We compare each deal against the prices we have tracked and label the ones that beat that history, and flag the ones whose "was" price sits above anything we have seen.
Is Black Friday or Cyber Monday better for PC parts?
For most parts it makes little difference: Amazon’s sale runs across both days and prices usually hold. Cyber Monday tends to lean harder on peripherals, monitors and storage. If a part you want hits a real low on Black Friday, buying then is the safer move.
Should I buy a graphics card on Black Friday?
Buy if a card in the tier you need drops below what it has sold for recently. Outgoing models are where the deepest GPU discounts usually show up. If a new generation is about to launch, the better value may come after the sale.
Which PC parts go on sale the most on Black Friday?
NVMe SSDs, DDR5 memory, monitors, power supplies and cases see the most frequent and deepest discounts. CPUs from the previous generation also drop. Current-generation graphics cards move the least.
How do you check if a Black Friday discount is real?
We record Amazon prices for the parts we track several times a day. A deal is labeled "Lowest we’ve tracked" when today’s price is at or below the lowest price we have recorded, and "Real drop" when it is clearly below the recent average.
