Will a 420mm actually fit your case?

Start here, because this is where most 420mm purchases go wrong. A 420mm mount means three consecutive 140mm fan positions in a row, and a spec sheet that says 420mm top radiator support is telling you those three positions exist. It is not telling you that a radiator, its fans, your memory, the VRM heatsink and the EPS cable can all occupy the same volume.

The number that matters is stack depth, not radiator length. ARCTIC's radiator is 38mm thick and its P14 Pro fans are 27mm, so the assembly needs 65mm of clearance under the top panel. A 27mm radiator with 25mm fans, like the Thermaltake here, is roughly 52mm. That 13mm is often the whole difference between a build that closes and one where you are pulling the memory back out.
