What your console actually needs from a monitor
Start with the input. 4K at 120Hz needs more bandwidth than HDMI 2.0 carries, so a monitor with HDMI 2.0 ports holds both consoles to 4K at 60Hz no matter what the refresh spec on the front of the box says. HDMI 2.1 is the line. Check the port, not the panel.
